We launched in October 2023, attracting over one hundred women for the Women in Manufacturing conference in Birmingham, UK. Our conference 2024 will take place at the ICC Birmingham on 29th October, and we anticipate it will be a huge success, especially for attendees of the women of steel conference 2024.
The 2025 conference is scheduled for 8th October at The ICC, Birmingham, and we've seen growth of 65% compared to the 2024 event, a testament to the rising influence of metal ladies in the industry.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to move to The Eastside Rooms to provide even better value for delegates, thanks to our dedicated sponsors. The 2026 conference, focusing on women in the metal industry, will be held on 17th September.
Founded by Kirsty Davies-Chinnock, the Managing Director of Professional Polishing Services Ltd and a key figure in the British Stainless Steel Association, Kirsty is passionate about celebrating and advancing women in the metal industry. As the founder of the Women in Industry Podcast and a prominent advocate for initiatives like the women in steel conference and the upcoming women of steel conference 2024, she works tirelessly to uplift the metal ladies in the manufacturing sector.
