Following the success of the first Women With Metal - The ALUMINIUM Awards held at The Aluminium Show, Dusseldorf, Germany. we are delighted to return in 2026.
The 2026 award ceremony will be held on the first day of ALUMINIUM 2026 in Düsseldorf, 6 October, at the ALUMINIUM Conference stage in Hall 3.

Kirsty Davies-Chinnock is the CEO and Founder of Women with Metal and Managing Director of Professional Polishing Services. Kirsty has worked in the metal sector for 37 years and is an expert in surface finishing of aluminium, stainless steel and other non ferrous metals for sectors including Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Architectural. An experienced NED she is also a Director and past Chair of the British Stainless Steel Association as well as other roles.
Following the success of the inaugural Women with Metal – The Aluminium Awards 2024 Kirsty is delighted to once again partner with RX Global for ALUMINIUM 2026.

Patrick Herman is a recognised expert in trade fair management and the Event Director of ALUMINIUM. Before moving into event organising, he worked in a key position for an American-German joint venture in the machinery manufacturing sector, overseeing decision-making for over 250 event participations worldwide and the sales and marketing strategy for these events. Until his recent takeover of ALUMINIUM, he led the 2 machinery manufacturing events ICE Europe and CCE International. Herman is committed to strengthening ALUMINIUM as a global platform for collaboration, innovation, and progress across business, science, and politics.

Nadine Bloxsome is Chief Executive Officer of the Aluminium Federation (ALFED), the voice of the UK aluminium industry. She brings more than a decade of sector experience, having previously served as Editor and Content Director of Aluminium International Today, where she worked closely with producers, processors, recyclers and policymakers across global markets. Nadine is known for translating complex industrial and policy issues into clear, compelling narratives. At ALFED, she leads strategic engagement on trade, energy, sustainability and skills, representing a membership of 100+ organisations across the aluminium value chain.

Duygu Saymen was born in Istanbul, Türkiye in 1987. After completing her primary and secondary education, she started her business life by graduating from Kocaeli University, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
After the experiences she gained in different sectors throughout her business life, she started working as the Communication and Membership Relations Coordinator at TALSAD, Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association in 2019, and has continued as Deputy Secretary General since 2021.
Duygu has been continuing her role in the aluminium industry as Secretary General of TALSAD since the beginning of 2024.

Dr Fiona Solomon has been the CEO of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative since 2015, working to build and grow ASI since its inception. She has worked in sustainability research and initiatives for just under 3 decades. As a mechanical engineering undergraduate student, she had a scholarship with Comalco Smelting in Australia and spent 4 summers working in aluminium smelters and mines. Her work with the aluminium value chain has effectively given her an opportunity to give back to the sector. She has a PhD in philosophy of technology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Angelika El-Noshokaty is Director General of Aluminium Deutschland, the association of the German aluminium industry. Prior to her current role, Angelika was responsible for German government affairs at Novelis. Before joining the aluminium industry, Angelika worked in strategy consultancy for more than ten years, most of them as a member of the management team. In those roles, Angelika supported corporations with government affairs, public affairs and in special situations. She started her career in the offices of several high profile members of the German Federal Parliament. Angelika holds a masters degree in political science.

Paul Voss is Director General at European Aluminium, the industry voice of the aluminium value chain in Europe. Mr. Voss is a long-term public affairs and governmental relations expert with 20 years of experience in the Brussels and energy sector. Prior to joining the aluminium industry, Mr. Voss served as Managing Director at Euroheat & Power, the association for the European district energy sector, and as Head of Public and Industrial Affairs at energy solutions provider Danfoss District Energy.
A British-Belgian national, Paul Voss is married with three children and holds degrees in Political Science and European Public Administration from Universities in Canada, France and Belgium.
